Our massage therapist, Clarissa Piodiroda, is a true expert in Thai massage. In order to share and pass on her knowledge, our specialist provides two courses: one on traditional Thai massage and the other on Thai massage with oils.

 

 

Traditional Thai massage training

 

Traditional Thai massage is an ASCA certified training course for professionals wishing to obtain a certificate which allows to exercise this technique.

 

Training aims :

- Introduce the basic concepts of traditional Thai massage
- Learn simple and effective gestures to perform a quality wellness and preventive massage on the whole body.

 

Contents:

- Introduction to the history of traditional Thai massage and acupressure
- Review of body physiology and knowledge of meridians
- Health questionnaire, history and contraindications
- Head and neck massage techniques
- Back massage techniques
- Leg massage techniques
- Revisions and full massage

 

Certificate: Certificate attesting that you have completed 20 hours of continuing education in traditional Thai massage recognized by ASCA and RME.


Price and format: the price of the training is CHF1'800.- for 40 hours of lessons during 5 days with a colorful handout for each participant as a gift.

Thai massage with oils training


This training aims to develop the technique of Thai massage in a more advanced way by integrating oils. On the other hand, it does not allow obtaining a diploma and is intended both for practitioners of complementary therapies and for massage enthusiasts who wish to learn how to perform it. This technique can be used for relaxation and well-being. It can also be used preventively to relax muscles and avoid potential blockages in the body.


Training aims :

- Introduce the concepts of Thai massage and the technique of oils,
- Learn the gestures of full body Thai massage,
- Learn to use the oil technique,
- Understand what are the benefits of massage in terms of well-being, prevention and quality.

- Introduction to the history of Thai massage and the oils used
- Review of body physiology and knowledge of meridians
- Health questionnaire, history and contraindications
- Head and neck massage techniques
- Back massage techniques
- Leg massage techniques
- Revisions and full massage

 

Certificate: each participant will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the course. Please note that this certificate is not recognized by ASCA or by RME.


Price and format: the price of the training is 1'800.- CHF for 40 hours of lessons over 5 days with a free handout with color photos for each participant as a gift.
