The term of "Pranayama" comes from the Sanskrit. "Prana" means "life force” and "ayama" means "extension".
Pranayama focus its energy toward respiration. Indeed, it uses techniques that help strengthen the whole range of our respiratory organs, and stimulate the parasympathetic system.
