Back pain

October 30, 2020

Back pain, low back pain, sciatica, lumbago, hernias are the most common ailments. Many of us live sedentary lives. We sit for long periods of time which contributes to back pain. Poor posture can also create chronic pain.

The body needs movement to get better blood circulation. It is not necessary to follow a vigorous exercise regime: the walk combined with stretching and a well-balanced diet contributes to better health. Qi Gong (slow and supple movements) is excellent for strengthening the immune system and circulating fluid blood.

Chinese medicine is great for treating back pain. This ancient medicine helps the body to reach its natural state. Acupuncture improves the flow of energy in the body thus relieving pain. The needles activate endorphins and relieve pain in an effective and natural way.

Treatment with suction cups is also very effective in reducing back pain. This method consists of applying a small glass container to the skin on the areas corresponding to the acupuncture points chosen according to the disorders to be treated. Cupping helps eliminate muscle and energy blockages, reduce pain, stimulate blood circulation and relax muscles, which finally allows toxins to be evacuated.

The movement of the body must be consistent to avoid the stagnation of our flow of vital Qi energy. This stagnation creates pain such as back pain. Movement is vital.
