Benefits of Ayurvedic massages

Ayurveda treatment techniques are carried out through different massages, involving oiling, steaming, the application of plaster or draining of oils on different parts of the body, kneading, stimulation of Marma points.

 

ABYANGA: Makes the body smile at all ages of life. Full body massage from the tip of the hair to the tip of the feet, eliminates toxins from the body by oiling. Suitable for all constitution types. Abyanga is advised in case of stress, anxiety, insomnia, circulatory problem, various pains, rheumatism. It detoxifies the metabolism by draining and lymphatic action, firms the tissues, promotes weight loss, boosts the immune system, regulates endocrine and neurosensory systems. Abyanga is accompanied by a head or a foot massage, depending on your energy at the time of treatment.

 

UDVARTANAM: Massage with plant powders. This massage is an anti-cellulite, it exfoliats the skin, with regular and tonic passages, eliminates toxins accumulated in the tissues, stimulates lymph and blood circulation, firms tissues, reduces adipocytes. Udvartanam is beneficial during the change of seasons in order to detoxify the organism. A shower follows the care, After the procedure you experience lightness, relaxation and renewed energy.

 

PADASHAMPI: Foot massage with a kansu bowl made with 5 metals (copper, zinc, bronze, brass, silver). The massage brings deep relaxation, relaxes the central nervous system, helps to let go, promoting a flow of peaceful thoughts, and provides restful sleep. Padashampi is indicated for impatient legs, unexpressed feelings, stability.

 

SHIRODHARA: warm drizzle of oil poured over the forehead. A deeply relaxing treatment, while a drizzle of oil flows in a regular and continuous rhythm. Shirodhara soothes the central nervous system, tension and thoughts. It helps to be in “conscience without thoughts”. This massage regenerates and restores restful sleep.

 

PINDA SWEDA, massage with plant pouches. The procedure involves application of warm tissue pouches with plants. The pouches are kept warm by steam of water or therapeutic oil. It helps with various pains, stiffness, fibromyalgia, creaking joints, dryness, impatient legs, loss of mobility. Pinda Sweda works on nadis (meridians) and marma points to release anxiety and stress.

 

PRASAVPURVE Pre and post-natal massage. If performed regularly, it decongests the tissues, strengthens the blood supply to the pelvis, improves circulation, purifies the lymph, works on the muscles and joints. The massage promotes the settlements of the organs back in place after childbirth and a feeling of well-being accompanies it.

 

BASTI, draining and retaining hot oil using a crown of chickpea flour dough. It helps against chronic muscle and joint pain. The crown is placed in the area of pain: back, neck, knees and the heat of the oil is maintained by a continuous pouring. Relaxation of contracted tissues and blood flow restores. It is advised to have a minimum of 3 sessions.
